Disadvantages of fusion-less scoliosis

Image
Hello everyone, It feels like I haven't done a scoliosis blog post in a while, so I thought I would talk about some of the disadvantages of fusion-less scoliosis. I would be lying if I told you I never thought what my life and back would be like if I didn't have the fusion surgery. However, after thinking about it for a while I know I made the right decision for me personally. Having a spinal fusion is completely individual, your consultant can recommend the procedure, but at the end of the day it's you who decides whether to have it or not. I had my spinal fusion surgery nearly 2 years ago now and I was really happy with my results. The procedure was 7 and a half hours long, but well worth it. Spinal fusion is no walk in the park, but the results can be amazing. However, like any operation they are pros and cons. I had some nerve damage in my leg and numbness on my back, but I thought this was a small price to pay all things considered. Having a spinal fusion not o...

Revolution Trends Celestial Eyeshadow Palette - Review

Image
Hello everyone, Today I wanted to do a review of the new Revolution Pro Trends Celestial eyeshadow palette. I was so excited to give this palette a try, the colours looked beautiful and I loved the space and astronomy theme behind the palette. The marble effect in the eyeshadow powders adds to the beauty of the palette. This palette retails for £8 and it is from the pro collection, which is the new line to the Revolution brand. This palette offers an amazing and versatile selection of colours, some are very wearable and some are more adventurous. The pigmentation is really good and the bendability is amazing. The only downfall towards this palette is the fall out, they can be a bit powdery. The price point is really good and I would personally pay a lot more for this palette and still be really impressed with the quality of it.  Revolution have finally put the shade names on the palette rather than on a plastic sheet which they previously did and I am so happy about this...

ABH subculture dupe?? - Revolution Reloaded Iconic Division

Image
Hello everyone, I have heard a lot of mixed reviews regarding the ABH subculture palette, therefore I didn't want to invest £41 on a palette that I may not even like. I have heard a lot of beauty You Tubers and Bloggers say that the Revolution Reloaded Iconic Division is a great dupe for this rather controversial palette. The dupe retails for a very affordable £4! I decided to give it a go and let you all know my thoughts and opinions on it. I obviously can't compare it to the Anastasia palette, as I don't have it, however I can talk about the pigmentation, quality and blend ability this palette has to offer. I have used a few palettes from Revolution, so I am aware that this brand is of a high quality. I did a review of the very popular Soph x Revolution eyeshadow palette, which I loved! so bearing that in mind I had high expectations for this palette too and I wasn't disappointed. Shade range - The shade range in my opinion is really good. There are some ad...

March Favourites

Image
Hello everyone, I wanted to do my March favourites today, as I found some real gems during the month of March. We are officially in spring now can you believe it! I don't know if it's just me, but March seems to have flown by. Anyways back on to the main attraction, my monthly favourites! Beauty favourites - - Revolution conceal and define concealer. I am in love with this concealer, however I am aware that I have recently done a post raving about how good this concealer is, so I wont talk much about it. Basically, it gives amazing coverage, longevity and it has an amazing shade range and it only cost £4! - Maybelline the turbo volum' express mascara This isn't a new launch, but it is amazing. It is super volumising and it is quick to apply. The formula is quite wet when u first use it but give it a few days and it will start to dry a little and will therefore grab and grip onto the lashes adding even more volume. This mascara is around £5 and I honestly ...
