Beauty products I’m trying out - thoughts and opinions so far!

Hello everyone,

Today I wanted to talk to you all about some of the new products I have in my collection which I am trying out. I wanted to try them out and let you all know my thoughts and opinions and whether or not they are worth the money.

Too Faced born this way concealer - I really wanted to try out a new high end concealer, I knew I liked Too Faced products so I thought I would try out their concealer. I had heard a lot of good things about this concealer, but I didn’t think it would be much different from my Revolution conceal and define. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This concealer feels light weight on the skin and blends seamlessly into the skin. I didn’t think  a high end concealer would be worth it in comparison to some of the amazing ones now on offer at the drugstore, but this is a concealer I would repurchase and I think it was definitely worth the money.

Revolution fast base foundation stick - I love how quick and easy foundation sticks are, and when I heard so many people talking about how good this one was I knew I had to try it! It is affordable and the shade range is amazing. I love the finish this foundation gives and how easy it blended into the skin. The longevity it pretty good and I really like how it looks on the skin. I have dry skin and I have no problems with this foundation. I would highly recommend this product and I will be repurchasing.

Barry M All Night Long Concealer - I originally wanted to purchase the revolution conceal and define concealer. However, Superdrug didn't have my shade in stock, so I thought I would try this Barry M concealer instead and I'm glad I did. The coverage from this concealer is medium and it has amazing longevity, as the name would suggest. This concealer retails for £4.49 and although there are better ones at the drugstore, I still liked this and I would recommend it.

Essence colour boost vinylicious liquid lip in 04 woody rosy - I love essence, so I wasn't very surprised when I quickly fell in love with their new liquid lip product. The pigmentation is amazing and the application is easy due to the shape of the doffer. I think these only retail for £2.80, but I would personally pay a lot more due to the quality. The shade 04 woody rosy is a pinky brown nude, and it looks gorgeous on the lips. It is a wearable everyday shade and it last a good while on the lips too!

Revolution x Soph lipstick in Syrup - I love Soph and I have both of her palettes in collaboration with Revolution, so I wanted to try out her lipsticks too. The shade Syrup is a light brown nude perfect for light to medium skin tones for an everyday nude lipstick. I know Soph also does a pink toned nude called Cake, which would be perfect for fair skin and a darker brown lipstick called Fudge, which would be perfect for deeper complexions. Although, I think all three of these lipsticks would work on all skin tones! The formula is amazing and the application is easy. They last well for a standard lipstick and they wear nicely. I would highly recommend picking one of these lipsticks up!

Essence lash princess volume mascara - I absolutely love this mascara. It is very affordable and it gives my lashes intense volume. The mascara last all day and looks amazing on the eyes. The only complaint I have against this mascara is that it can flake and leave bits of black under the eyes, but this really doesn't bother me too much considering the amazing results I gained.

Essence long lasting eye pencil - I really wanted to try out a silver eye pencil and when I swatched this one in store it looked really pigmented and pretty. I think these eye pencils retail for about £2 and they are really opaque and look beautiful on the eyes. I would highly recommend trying one of these eye pencils out, especially considering the affordable price point!

Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Beauty Beam Highlighter palette - I was sceptical when I first purchased this palette as I had heard a few mixed reviews on this palette. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this palette and the pigmentation it had to offer. I think this palette is underrated and I would recommend this palette to everyone of any skin tone, due to its 3 different shades which can be used combined or separately.

Thank you for reading.
Have you tried any of these products? what were your thoughts and opinions on them?

Sadie xoxo
