I Heart Revolution Surprise Eggs - review !!

I really wanted to review the I Heart Revolution surprise eggs today, I was so excited to receive these. I love the concept of eye shadows and highlighters inside an egg. They would make amazing Easter presents for makeup lovers!


I purchased the unicorn egg and the gold egg from Superdrug. They retail for £5 each, which i think is great value for money.



The Unicorn Egg - This egg consists of 5 purple themed eye shadows. There is a light purple shimmery shade, a slightly darker purple which is a shimmer and another darker purple shimmer shadow. ( i know that is a terrible description, but i didn't know how else to put it!) There are two other shades, a bright purple shimmer (which is my favorite as the pigmentation is amazing) and a bright blue, which is great in pigmentation too!
The 2 highlighters are a bit powdery, but they are gorgeous on the skin they are pigmented and can give a really intense glow when built up.



The Gold Egg - This egg consists of 5 brown and gold themed eye shadows. There is a matte yellowy toned brow, a matte brow and a deep brow matte eye shadow. There are also two shimmery shades a light brown and a darker brown eye shadow. 
The 2 highlighters are really pigmented and provide a lovely glow to the skin. The lightest gold shade is wearable, however the true gold highlighter is harder to wear for lighter skin tones, but it would look amazing on darker skin tones. The bright gold shade has been compared to the Fenty beauty highlighter, so if you were looking for a dupe this egg would be a great affordable option.  





Overall, these eggs are affordable and of great quality. The pigmentation is amazing, but they can be a bit powdery, however for only £5 you can't fault them. There are 6 different eggs in this range; Gold, Rose gold, Dragon, Mermaid, Angel and Unicorn.

Testing Barry M!

Hello everyone, It was recently my birthday and I received some Barry M products. I have tried a few things from Barry M before, but it was a long time ago. So I thought I would do a review on the products I received to refresh my own memory and to see if Barry M is any good.
