Best of beauty 2017 - The skincare

Hello everyone,

Skincare is something I love doing and I truly believe that looking after your skin and knowing what skin type you have is important. Once you know what your skin type is you can pick products, both makeup and skincare that cater and work best on your skin. I have normal to dry skin, however it does vary throughout the seasons i.e. my skin is more dry in the winter months. Due to my dry skin I often choose moisturising products to help rehydrate my skin. Throughout 2017 they were a lot of skin care launches and therefore a lot of products that I fell in love with!

1) Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Water -

I've previously done a more in depth review of this product, and I have gone through multiple bottles of this micellar water. I personally find the micellar water really effective at removing my makeup, it's easy to use and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, as it leaves the skin feeling hydrated it's  gentle on the skin, which is good for sensitive skin types and it is affordable.

2) My Skin Matters Makeup Wipes -

I know a lot of people hate makeup wipes and say that they are bad for your skin, however I think they are absolutely fine as long as you remember to cleanse afterwards to make sure that all your makeup is off. I use these wipes almost everyday they leave my skin feeling hydrated. The wipes are full of moisture, which of course helps with the removal of makeup. The my skin matters skincare range is exclusive to Sainsbury's it's very affordable and is of great quality.

3) My Skin Matters Micellar Water -

Micellar water is my favourite way to remove my makeup, it's quick, easy and most of the time affordable. I purchased the My Skin Matters micellar water about 2-3 months ago, I wasn't really expecting much when I bought it, however I was pleasantly surprised. I use about 2 cotton pads to remove all my makeup, and I found that with this micellar water I didn't have to scrub at my face to remove my makeup it almost dissolved into the cotton pad, it required minimal effort and it was an effective way to remove my makeup. I love this product and would recommend it to everyone! Also the entire My skin matters skincare range is cruelty free, which is great.

4) Simple Water Boost Micellar Facial Gel Wash -

This gel face wash is probably one of my favourite skincare products I've ever tried! I really noticed a difference after using this product, my skin felt softer and more hydrated. I also noticed a difference when applying my foundation, it glided on easier and sat nicer on the skin. This face wash is infused with essential minerals and plant extracts, which are both beneficial to the skin. This is a must have skincare product for me and I would highly recommend it to all dry skinned types!

5) Superdrug Micellar Oil Wipes -

These wipes are hydrating and they feel lovely on the skin. They have Argan oil infused into them which has great benefits for the skin. They left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. The wipes have a really nice smell to them mainly due to the Argan oil. They are affordable and do a good job at removing makeup.

6) Simple Micellar Water Makeup Wipes -

I love these wipes, they are very hydrating and easily remove a full face of makeup. They are affordable and effective. I love simple as a brand, but these wipes along with the gel face wash have got to be 2 of my all time favourites. I would highly recommend these wipes as they are easy and convenient to use.

7) Source Of Nature Facial Wash -

I really like this facial wash, it contains white tea and green tea and it is sourced from 95% natural origin. The face wash is cruelty free international! It is perfect for sensitive skin and it gently removes impurities from the skin. It's affordable and effective at removing makeup too.

8) Simple Kind To Skin Moisturiser -

This is a product that I've been using for a while now and its a go to for me, I use it every day! My dry skin really  benefits from using this moisturiser, after using it my skin feels soft, smooth and supple. I often use this moisturiser as a primer before applying makeup as it really helps to prep my skin and keep it hydrated all day long. I really recommend this moisturiser it is lovely to apply and great for dry skin!
