Beauty Haul - July

Hello everyone,

It's been awhile since I've done a beauty post, but I was recently reading some of my favourite blogs and I suddenly became inspired and wanted to do loads, So I thought I'd dedicate the whole month of July to beauty, I hope you guys don't mind, but I thought it would be nice to change things up a bit.

I wanted to kick beauty month off with a beauty haul. I've recently being loving doing my makeup and experimenting with new products.

As you all probably be aware, It was recently my 1 year post op check-up appointment, and it's sort of a tradition that my parents and I go to Meadow hall shopping afterwards.
I picked up a few things from meadow hall including the Nars sheer glow foundation and the ELF illuminating palette. The American brand ELF, is very new to the U.K., but from just looking at the stand and the products they have to offer, I have a feeling they are going to be very popular.

The Nars sheer glow foundation, has been a massive holy-grail product within the YouTube community, but I just never got round to trying it until now. I'm really excited to try this product, if you would like a review on the Nars sheer glow foundation please leave me a comment letting me know and I will gladly do that for you.

I also recently purchased the Maybelline dream velvet foundation, Again I've been wanting to try this one for awhile now but I just never picked it up until now. I'm excited to test this foundation out. It claims to be a soft-matte yet hydrating foundation, which is a pretty bold statement as matte foundations tend to be quite drying.

The next item I recently picked up is another product from Maybelline and it is actually the matching concealer to this foundation. I was a bit sceptical as to whether I should purchase this as it is a stick concealer, However it is marketed as a creamy formulation. I have never seen the Maybelline dream brightening creamy concealer before, so I don't know if this is a new product or I've just never noticed it.

The next product I wanted to talk to you all about, is the new mega volume miss baby roll mascara from L'Oréal. I'm yet to try this but the wand looks insane. I've watched a lot of my favourite youtubers rave about how good this mascara is, so I'm expecting good things.

And finally the last item I purchased, is actually for my hair. I have tried this products out once and I really liked the effect and results I saw. The Phil Smith super smooth keratin protein spray, helps to calm my frizz down and give my hair a more smooth appearance, which I love! based on first impressions, this product is great and definitely worth the buy!

If you would like me to do a separate review of one of these products, please feel free to let me know in the comments and I will be sure to do that for you.
