What I've learnt about the beauty industry.

Image
Hello Everyone, I wanted to try something different from usual, and let you all know what I have learnt about the beauty industry. With the beauty industry being a multi million pounds business, I think its important sometimes to just remember that this whole industry has been created through women and men purchasing products to essentially boost there confidence and improve there appearance, and for some people it's just fun and something to help you feel better about yourself, but I think it's necessary to remind ourselves that we have to embrace who we are and how we look, with and without makeup and filters, because as cheesy as it sounds there is only one you, and if everyone in the world looked like one of the flawless models we are surrounded by in the media, then they would be no uniqueness. I know that was quite heavy and deep for my blog but I felt like it was needed because its okay for youtubers and bloggers to sit and film or write about new beauty prod...

Max Factor lip kit - review

Image
Hi guys, Today I thought I'd do a review on an item I randomly came across whilst looking around the boots makeup stands. I was actually pretty excited when I saw that max factor had released there own take on lip kits. They had so many different colour options, not going to lie it was pretty overwhelming, I didn't know where to start, but the main thing that struck me about theses lip kits, was that they included a balm to lock in moisture, as there is nothing worse than having dry lips. I thought this was such a genius idea, and as a result I really wanted to test them out and let you guys know my thoughts and opinion on the Max Factor lip kits. - Max Factor lipfinity lip kit: spiritual 180 Not only is the colour beautiful, but the staying power and finish that this lip kit gives is amazing. The balm that comes with the liquid lipstick, is very moisturising and leaves the lips feeling really soft. As far as I've been aware, there is virtually no tra...

My 5 Beauty Must Haves

Image
Hello everyone, Today I wanted to do a blog post on my 5 beauty must haves. These are the 5 products I have been using and loving at the moment. 1) Rimmel London wake me up foundation This foundation gives a dewy finish and is perfect for dry skin. The coverage is buildable from sheer to full, and it lasts throughout the day. Overall this foundation is definitely a winner for me, and it's drugstore so it's very budget friendly! 2) Rimmel London stay matte powder This powder has been a favourite of mine for awhile now, and I have previously mentioned it in my blog post - Best beauty products of 2016 Although I have dry skin and this powder is meant for oily skin, it still works really well on me. I wear this powder almost everyday and I honestly love it. I have worn it on the really sunny days we have recently been getting in the U.K. and it has kept my makeup in place. The Rimmel stay matte powder is definitely worth the buy, and again this product is in...

As you all probably be aware, It was recently my 1 year post op check-up appointment, and it's sort of a tradition that my parents and I go to Meadow hall shopping afterwards. I picked up a few things from meadow hall including the Nars sheer glow foundation and the ELF illuminating palette. The American brand ELF, is very new to the U.K., but from just looking at the stand and the products they have to offer, I have a feeling they are going to be very popular. The Nars sheer glow foundation, ha...
